Webinar on Partnership for Action against Tuberculosis(PAcT) For a TB – Free India by 2025 (Edition-3)

Apollo Tyres Foundation is a diamond member of Corporate TB Pledge. It has been undertaking TB awareness and screening work at 31 locations spanning across 19 states through their Healthcare centres. The aim of the programme is to provide integrated and holistic health services to the trucking community and the allied population. The programme is operational since the year 2000 and healthcare services include HIV screening, vision care, prevention and identification of non-communicable diseases such as diabetes and high blood pressure, awareness on TB and other generic health services at the transhipment hubs. Its TB initiative primarily aims at awareness generation, early diagnosis and treatment adherence to reduce morbidity and mortality due to tuberculosis amongst the trucking community.

Acknowledging that the corporate sector has a crucial role to play towards reaching the goal of TB elimination by 2025, Apollo Tyres Foundation has been supporting the Corporate TB Pledge initiative for galvanising more corporates to join the fight against TB.

State-level webinars were organised jointly in the past by Apollo Tyres Foundation and The Union,  aimed at encouraging other corporate partners to join CTP.   These webinars were successful in mobilising organisations such as FOKIA, Telerad Foundation, CGPL-Tata Power, Adani Group of Industries etc. to join the corporate TB pledge initiative.

Apollo Tyres Foundation and The Union are  organizing a Webinar on Partnership for Action against Tuberculosis(PAcT) for a TB – Free India by 2025 the Edition 3 on Wednesday, 30th September 2021, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. The Maharashtra focussed, webinar is aimed at encouraging corporates from Maharashtra to join the program.
