Business Associations

Thanking  you for showing interest in the Corporate TB Pledge (CTP) program. Business Associations with operations in a high TB burden country, like India, can make a huge impact by fighting the effects of TB on their workforces and supply chains, complementing the efforts of local governments. Once a part of the Corporate TB Pledge Program, they can facilitate the program by increasing the membership base by motivating their networks to join the fight to eliminate TB. Further to instilling the urge to contribute to this global cause, the platform offers consultative workshops and training facilities to business associations and their members.

Corporate TB Pledge (CTP) is a joint initiative of the Central TB Division, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India and USAID, launched in 2019. The platform has mobilized 100 plus corporates and five key Business Associations like AMCHAM, USISPF, CII, FICCI and IACC who are closely associated with the initiative. Several members of the above-mentioned business associations are part of the Corporate TB Pledge (CTP) initiative and have contributed substantially to the program. The Business Association have organised programs for mobilising partners and building capacities, which has helped members to leverage networks. There was a Joint Release of the Best Practice Compendium by Dr Harsh Vardhan, Hon’ble Minister of Health and Family Welfare; Science and Technology and Earth Sciences, at the inaugural session of the CII India Healthcare Week 2020 from 17th to 21st August, 2020.The Corporate TB Pledge (CTP) members are now organising state level events with CII state chapters.

Business Associations have a key role to play in contributing to the overall vision of the Hon’ble Prime Minister, towards a TB free India by 2025.
